Devilled Sardines


  1. 1 dozen sardines
  2. salt and pepper
  3. lemon juice
  4. hot mustard
  5. toast
  6. lemon
  7. parsley


Skin, split and bone a dozen sardines. Season with salt, pepper, lemon-juice, and hot mustard. Let stand for an hour in the
seasoning. Broil and serve on toast, garnishing with lemon and parsley.
